How to Setup a live encoder with everest panel

To set up an encoder to Everest Panel, follow these steps:

Login to your control panel: Access the Everest Panel by entering the appropriate URL in your web browser and providing your login credentials.

Navigate to the DJ section: Look for the "DJ" option in the control panel's menu or sidebar and click on it. This should take you to the section where you can manage your DJ settings.

Edit the live DJ settings: Locate the specific live DJ entry that you want to configure and click on the three dots or ellipsis icon associated with it. This should open a context menu with various options.

Select the "Edit" option: Click on the "Edit" option from the context menu for the desired live DJ entry. This will open the configuration settings for that DJ.

Find the Icecast encoder information: Within the edit page for the live DJ, you should find the section related to Icecast encoder information. Icecast is a popular streaming media server that works well with Everest Panel.

Set the username as "Source": Look for the field or input box labeled "Username" or "User" in the Icecast encoder information section. Enter "Source" as the value for the username.

Specify the mount point: Locate the field or input box labeled "Mount Point" or "Mount" in the Icecast encoder information section. Enter the desired mount point name, making sure to add a forward slash (/) before the mount point name if required by your encoder.

Save the changes: After entering the necessary information, click on the "Save" or "Apply" button to save the settings for the live DJ entry.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully set up the encoder for Everest Panel, ensuring that the username is set to "Source" and the mount point is specified correctly.
