# How to create a playlist in azuracast

To create a playlist in AzuraCast, you can follow these steps:

* Log in to your AzuraCast web interface.

* Click on the "Playlists" tab in the top menu.

* Click the "Create Playlist" button located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

* Give your playlist a name and description.

* Select the appropriate playlist type - either "Default" or "Scheduled" - depending on how you want to use the playlist.

* If you're creating a scheduled playlist, specify the schedule for when the playlist should play.

* Click on the "Add New Song" button to add songs to the playlist.

* A search bar will appear, where you can search for songs by artist, album, or title. Alternatively, you can browse for songs by clicking on the "Browse" button.

* Once you find the song you want to add, click on the "+" button next to it to add it to the playlist.

* Repeat step 8-9 until you've added all the songs you want to the playlist.

* To rearrange the order of the songs in the playlist, simply click on the song and drag it to the desired position.

* Click the "Save" button to save the playlist.

Your new playlist will now be available for use on your AzuraCast server. You can assign it to a stream or a mount point and start broadcasting.
